SERVICES OFFERED

At APME, we specialize in domestic helpers from the Philippines and Indonesia.  If you prefer different countries, please let us know and we will try our best.  We can certainly source from other countries permitted in Singapore, but must always work within the Singapore legal framework.

NEW HELPERS FROM THE PHILIPPINES AND INDONESIA - We have extensive sourcing capabilities in the Philippines and Indonesia.  We maintain  strict screening and interview requirements to maintain a high standard of helpers suitable for each employer. 

TRANSFER HELPERS - We can offer experienced helpers already living in Singapore.   Although already experienced, we still ensure stringent screening and interview requirements. 

DIRECT HIRE AND RENEWAL PROCESSING  - If you have found a helper by yourself, we can still help manage all the contracts, paperwork and processes in compliance with Singapore regulations. 

DOMESTIC HELPER INSURANCE  - Medical Insurance and Personal Accident Insurance are a requirement for helpers in Singapore.  We are licensed with the General Insurance Association of Singapore (GIA) and are happy to provide guidance on MOM requirements and to provide insurance quotations. 

TRAINING - In addition to mandatory training requirements, we also have an extensive network of training available for specific needs.  Just let us know what you need or let us provide some recommendations based on your family circumstances.

Engaging with APME is an ongoing process and we provide the following assistance before and after placement:

Pre-Placement Services

 

  1. Helper Selection: We help with getting the right helper for specific needs (childcare, eldercare, or general housekeeping). 

  2. Documentation and Legal Compliance: Handling all paperwork, work permits, contracts, and ensuring compliance with Singapore regulations.

  3. Training and Orientation: Providing helpers with essential training in areas like household management, cooking, and caregiving.

  4. Health Screening: Conducting medical check-ups to ensure the helper is fit for work.

  5. Cultural and Language Preparation: Helping helpers adapt to Singapore's culture and language for smoother integration.

  6. Crash Courses on skills depending on client Need: Cooking, First Aid etc.

Post-Placement Services

  1. Onboarding Support: We help to establish clear expectations and routines.

  2. Conflict Resolution: Offering mediation services to address misunderstandings or disputes.

  3. Skill Development: Providing ongoing training to enhance the helper's skills and productivity.

  4. Emergency Assistance: Ensuring support in case of unforeseen circumstances, such as health issues or accidents.

  5. Performance Monitoring: Regular check-ins to ensure the helper is meeting expectations and adjusting as needed.

  6. Specialized Courses Based on Clients Needs: We offer variety of courses for domestic helpers to enhance their skills and support their professional growth. Examples of courses: Caregiving, First Aid, Cooking, Respectful Parenting, Language Proficiency, Financial Literacy, Basic Computer Skills and Household Management.
